- Historic Fort Erie
- Historic Fort Erie was the first British fort built in what is now Ontario, Canada. During the War of 1812, the site was occupied by the American forces that used this strategic location as the base of their operations for the invasion of Upper Canada. It was also the site of the Siege of Fort Erie, the scene of the worst fighting in the history of Canada.
